The Aeropress is a fun way to brew a small cup of coffee!  It makes bright and full body coffee.  There are several ways to use the Aeropress, we prefer the non-inverted method, allowing for an easier more consistent method.  Use the Aeropress at home, in the office, or on the trail.

Coffee / Water Ratio:
18g coffee (1.25 tablespoons) / 270g water (1 cups)
Optimal water temperature: 195-205 °F
Brew Time: 1.5 minutes
Grind: Fine

Step 1: Rinse filter
Place the filter in the Aeropress and run some hot water through it.

Step 2: Add coffee
Add finely ground coffee (about the consistency of fine granulated sugar) into the filter and  then give it a gentle shake to level the grounds. If you’re using a scale, now’s the time to tare it.  Place Aeropress on your cup.

Step 3: Wet the grounds
Starting the timer, pour in water to saturate the grounds.  Add about half of the water.

Step 4: Stir
Give the grounds a gentle stir to ensure there are no clumps.  Add rest of water and stir again.

Step 5: Adding the Plunger
Place the plunger on the Aeropress at an angle, then straighten it as you pull up slightly, this will prevent any coffee from dripping through the filter.

Step 6: Plunge
At 1:10 remove the Aeropress from your scale and press the plunger down slowly.  Finishing with n 30 seconds.

Step 7: Enjoy
Enjoy this bright flavored cup of coffee.
